ADMISSION POLICY

We hope that all of our patrons have a magical experience every time they visit a Parkway cinema.
That’s why we insist that everyone who comes to watch a show with us strictly adheres to our Admission Policy.
You must produce a valid ticket or booking QR code to the cinema for entry. The ticket or booking must be valid for the particular show you are coming to see. Tickets or bookings made in error may be rectified by the cinema as long as brought to the attention of us at least 2 hours before the advertised start time of the purchased show. Parkway are under no obligation to exchange tickets for shows with less than 2 hours notice.
You must sit in your allocated seat if required, or as directed by the staff.
You must retain your tickets / e-ticket at all times. These may be required for re-entry to the auditorium. If you cannot prove you have a valid ticket you may be denied re-entry to the screen.
Mobile phones must be switched off as soon as the feature film begins. Please do not use your mobile phone at all during the performance, not even when it is on silent - glaring screens can be very distracting for other guests.
No sound or recording equipment are permitted inside the screen. We may ask you to show us the contents of your bag if staff are suspicious of you recording a film.
No smoking or vaping is permitted inside our premises. Any person found doing so will be ejected without any entitlement to refund.
You may bring your own food and drink to the cinema with you, but we insist that hot or odorous foods are consumed outside of the cinema. You may not bring your own alcohol into the cinema, but may purchase alcoholic drinks from the bar and bring them through with you to watch your show. Anyone who appears to be intoxicated shall be asked to leave the cinema immediately, without entitlement to a refund.
Antisocial or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated. Such behaviour will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund. This is at the total discretion of the staff and the manager’s decision is final. If required, we will report such behaviour to the police and ban disruptive patrons from future visits.
You may bring registered guide, hearing or assistance dogs in to the show with you if required.
As a licensed cinema, we have to enforce the BBFC licensing laws. Anyone intending to see an age restricted film who, in the opinion of our staff seem to be younger than the required age must be able to prove they are old enough. We will accept a passport, driving licence, YOTI card or birth certificate (with some other form of photographic ID). We are happy to accept a digital photo or photocopy of the above documents
Please be aware that CCTV is in operation throughout the cinema.
We reserve the right to refuse entry, or to have people leave once entry has been granted. The manger's decision is final.
Parkway Cinema Barnsley Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.

GENERAL SALE OF TICKETS

Show tickets can be purchased from this website using most major credit / debit cards, or by redeeming a Parkway gift card. If you are purchasing your ticket at the cinema, you may also pay in cash.
Tickets purchased via the website are immediately available for collection at the cinema using your booking reference, member card, bank card you made payment with or booking barcode. We encourage customers to use paperless tickets by presenting the booking QR code on their phone screen at the ticket check point.
Seats are generally unallocated – simply choose your seats upon arrival. Some shows are set to an allocated seating plan, where seats are automatically allocated on a best available basis, but can be changed by selecting different available seats on the seating plan. Whilst we will make every effort to seat you in your allocated seat, we make no warranties or representations that this will be possible.
Tickets are generally non-refundable or exchangeable unless required by law. We may, entirely at the manager's discretion, refund or exchange your tickets and / or booking fee.
Tickets are valid for the specific show, date, time and cinema as indicated on the ticket or booking confirmation only.
All prices including VAT (where applicable).
Proof of age may be required at the cinema for any person attending a 12A, 15 or 18 certificate film. Failure to provide proof of age when requested will result in the cancellation of any ticket purchase. This is a legal requirement.
If a reduced price ticket is purchased, you must be ready to show ID proving this at the cinema (e.g. a student card)
Telephone bookings attract a £1 booking fee for the booking, no matter how many seats are booked.
Web bookings attract a 65p per ticket booking fee for the first four tickets in each transaction (e.g. minimum 65p for one ticket, Maximum of £2.60 for four or more tickets).
By completing your purchase you agree to paying this booking fee in addition to the base ticket price.
We do not make any charges for the use of credit or debit cards as a payment method. The booking fee can be avoided by purchasing tickets in person at the cinema during normal opening hours. The booking fee is charged to cover additional costs with providing remote access to the venue's ticketing system.
We may, at our discretion, refuse to sell tickets to you or withdraw tickets from sale for any show.
By purchasing tickets, you agree that you and all other guests in your party will adhere to the Admission Policy (see above).
In addition to the rules outlined above - "General Sale of Tickets", there are additional terms that apply specifically to the redemption / sale of member tickets or discounts.
