Join Parkway Barnsley for an evening of live music and insight on Tuesday 24th February 2026 with a special screening of The Choral, complete with pre-show talk from a member of the film crew and a live performance of the music featured in the film.

Get an insight into the making of the film in an exclusive pre-show talk by Joe Judge, the on-set conductor for The Choral. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how the singers were cast for the film, how the music came to life onscreen and many more captivating stories from the set of this wonderful film.

Joe will be joined by local community choir, Barnsley Singers, to perform music from The Choral. The choir in the film learn Edward Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius and you will be able to hear this fantastic music live in the theatre just before the film starts!
