To tie in with the release of the new Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire film, we are offering a behind the scenes “scary” tour. We imagine that like us, many of you will have seen the original Ghostbusters film here, 40 years ago. How cool is it that you can see the new one here too? We caught the film at the exhibitor screening in London last week and it is amazing, very much in the mould of the original. As many of you know, the previous theatre on this site was the Empire, so we’ll throw in a slime slush and create our own “Frozen Empire”! Our idea is to welcome you with a short talk about the old place and screen some 35mm film. Then you will have the opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour, including backstage, projection rooms and the spooky (many say haunted) passageways that are known only to staff. There’s guaranteed to be a few frights along the way! To attend, you must be over 12 years old and able bodied as there are 100s of stairs involved! This event will be limited to 100 people, so don’t miss out!
